The hospitality market is set to become a major player in home furnishings retailing, especially in home textiles.
As the major hotel chains expand their merchandise offerings to hotel guests, their impact on the sales of home furnishings will be felt, especially in the better price line merchandise.
These companies, which include major players like Westin, Marriott, Fairmont, Hilton, Waldorf-Astoria, Hyatt, and W, also now are featuring their home furnishings lines on their Web sites, often with expanded product offerings in every category.
